you’re photo eye has definitely amped up your voice. Beautiful photos. Great contrasts. Loved the dude on the bike.

Loved the shot of the man with the hash pipe with the illuminated wrist watch. my favorite. the idea of acquiring a “camera voice” or “camera vocabulary” is intriguing to me, as a writer. I can understand translating “point of view” to a camera shot, meaning the angle at which the shot is taken, the lighting, the composition, etc, but should the analogy include the finer points of written narration–everything from sentence structure to characterization? just curious. maybe this is more of an intellectual exercise–but it makes me think of photography and photographers in a new way.

Yes, as a writer this is something you can relate to. It is more than just showing what you see. It’s about saying something about what you see…same as in writing.
